Designer, Set Decorator and Television Personality, April ‘Bama’ Glover is
a cheeky Southern Belle who doesn't mind getting her hands dirty. April, has always taken a hands-on approach with her projects and wouldn't have it any other way. She moved to Los Angeles from a small town in rural Alabama, hence the nickname “Bama” to carve a name for herself over a decade ago.
With her southern accent and vivacious personality, it didn’t take April long to win the hearts of many. She is known as the “Queen of Up-cycling”! What most would consider trash, she calls found treasures. With her knack for transforming inexpensive, discarded elements into stylish, home décor and must-have furniture pieces. She attributes her knowledge in design and contracting to her good fortune of working and learning from other talented artists over the years.

She currently hosts the new home renovation series ‘Unlivable’, on FYI Network. The show follows April and Gary Stein, a no non-sense contraction company owner as they help hopeful homeowner’s search the city for that perfect rundown fixer-upper. Together this duo, transforms any unlivable situation into the most enviable homes on the block.
Prior to joining the FYI family, April's upbeat and high-energy approach landed her a role as a Design Producer with Extreme Makeover Home Edition. Her keen ability to connect on a personal level with others has led to April making her mark in the industry. She is a proud member of Local 44 and The Set Decorators Society of America (SDSA). In 2017, she excepted a seat on the board of the SDSA, whose mission is to inspire and educate future generations in the art of Set Decorating.
Off air, April owns her own design studio "Designs by Bama", established in 2006, where she designs for a diverse group of clients and companies. In 2017, she created her own home décor and beauty line, FOLK + LORE. Look for the official launch in January, 2018.
